 MAXWELL BEACH : Just a short 5-min walk from the apartment is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Depending on the weather its great for body surfing or snorkeling. Welches Beach is just south of Maxwell and Miami and Dover are a short car ride.
 CHARLIE'S BAR & GRILL just down the street has the feel of a traditional British Pub with the atmosphere of the Caribbean. Great music, pool table and island cuisine that is top notch. Charlie is a fun guy and sure to have some crazy stories to share with you!
 PABLO DONTE'S great for a light lunch or dinner its across from Charlie's and right near the beach. Here you can catch up on the latest soccer and football games while you enjoy some food and a pint. Some nights they have music DJ's and its nice to have a good bar in the neighborhood. |
Moravian Gardens is located in Maxwell, Christ Church Barbados in the Eastern Caribbean. Located on the South cost of Barbados, Moravian Gardens is close to the calm Caribbean Sea on the South Western side of the island. With Bridgetown just 4 miles away and the St Lawrence Gap just down the street your are in the heart of the island. 
Buses, Taxis and Mini buses are easily accessible from Moravian Gardens. Public transportation is available throughout the island and allows you to visit Barbados without the need for a car. If you so desire your own transportation there are several car rental agencies in the neighborhood.
Southern Car Rental is across the street from Moravian Gardens and makes it very easy to pick up a car once you arrive. There are also several rental firms located at the airport if you wish to pick up a car upon arrival.

SUPER CENTER : Located just 5 mins south of Moravian Gardens is a complete grocery store with everything you need including fresh produce, meats and a full bakery. The complex also has a bank and a gas station. If you need to pick up some quick items 4 J's Market is right in the neighborhood located just south of Charlie's Bar and Grill.
