BEST WIND & KITE SURFING ON BARBADOS
The Kite Boarding Scene:Warm water and steady winds make Barbados an excellent kite Surfing destination. The Trade Winds pick up in December and continue through July, with two to four foot waves on the reef about 300 yards off shore.
Most of the kite boarding is done on the southeast coast, with clear access to the prevailing northeast and easterly trade winds. Several of the beaches have schools and lessons available.

Silver Rock Is the the main kite board launch in Barbados and home of Brian "Irie Man" Talma and the De Actionrental and lesson school.
Here you can rent gear and take lessons from some of the top pros on the island. Silver Rock is a little busy at times with 50+ Kites up in the air. It is the place to be seen and to watch some of the best surfers from all over the world. .
